My name is David Ash. I am a first-year graduate student at the University of Rhode Island, pursuing my master's in library information science. I have enjoyed the program and look forward to obtaining the degree to advance my career. I am a  Library Media Specialist at an elementary school in Virginia. I work with Kindergarten to sixth-grade students. I see around 450 students a week. I love my job! I enjoy interacting with the students and getting them interested in reading. I am always coming up with new ideas to make the library a fun experience. My ultimate goal is to be the school district's library media specialist manager. Hopefully, this degree will help me get there!
